9/10/2011 0 Comments Heart Route 4 in FrankfurtFollow your heart I decided to create my first overseas heart route to celebrate that my amazing brother has just got engaged to his beautiful German girlfriend. What better way to spread the love, than to start here! Cycle your heart out... and celebrate! Location Frankfurt, Germany Heart route After picking up a bike map in town, my brothers fiancé helped us plot out a nice quiet heart route. Bike hire: 'Next Bike' Cycle your heart out We started at the Eiserner Steg, a beautiful bridge covered in small padlocks filled with love messages. We then followed the scenic river all the way to Steinheim to start our 17 mile (27km) heart route. Highlights: Seligenstadt, one of Germanys oldest towns Beautiful forests, churches, castles! Spread the love Frankfurt has incredible bike paths, check out the green belt which takes you on a scenic 70km loop around the city!
