Follow Your Heart On the weekend of 23-24 June 2012, Breeze organised The Big Breeze Bike Ride, the UK’s first ever event to get thousands of women riding a bike at the same time! So I decided to celebrate this event by creating a nice scenic heart-route all along the canals! Location East London Heart Route 7 miles Cycle Your Heart Out Me and fellow Breeze Champions, Shahanara and Gita led the ride and met all the ladies at Victoria Park. We cycled through the scenic Limehouse Basin, historic Three Mills and right past the Olympic stadium! A huge thank you to all the everyone who took part! The sun decided to show it's face and we celebrated at the end with some ice-cream and cake at the Lakeside Pavilion in Victoria Park. Plenty of eventful things to see, and good company along the way" -Una Coogan "I thought my first Breeze ride was awesome, great scenic route. I went past parts of London I've never been to. A great canal ride. It was great in the rain and also the sun and we had really good fun" -Melisa Mok "The Breeze ride was really fun, it was really good meeting loads of likeminded women who like cycling" -Rachel Newstead If you live in England you can find a ride in your area organised by British Cycling's great Breeze initiative!
