Heart route number 5 took me and my friend Thomas on scenic city ride through beautiful Munich!
Starting at the English gardens (one of the largest urban parks in the world) we cycled past the beer garden 'Chinese Towers' to the start of our heart route the peaceful Hofgarten, where a talented musician was serenading everyone passing by. We cycled past the Feldherrnhalle, where hundreds of bicycles were parked and tourists where snapping photos. At the Konigsplatz Square many people were sunbathing enjoying the sudden heatwave in the middle of October! The Marienplatz square is the heart of the city, where the stunning Townhall & Frauenkirche lies, they were probably two of my favourite buildings. I could not help but liken the buildings of Munich to Disney land, in fact only 128km from Munich you will find Neuschwanstein Castle, which was in fact the inspiration for Disneyland's famous Castle!
