What inspired me to create this heart route was the beautiful initiative ‘Peace One Day.’ Jeremy Gilley founded the film project in 1999 to document his efforts to create an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence. In 2001 this dream finally came true when the United Nations adopted the first ever day of global peace on 21st September. Cycle your heart out … for peace Location Milton Keynes, England Heart Route A flat 8km route, all off-road Cycle Your Heart Out Every year Peace One Day celebrates this day by holding a special concert. It was a pleasure to be able to go this year to their concert at the o2 arena in London. So many great performances, music from Kat Stevens, plus the multi talented Newton Faulkner & Razorlight!
