Date: 19th December 2011 Location: Perth, Australia, Reason: A thank you to Perth!
While we in the UK get ready for winter, on the other side of the world in sunny Perth Australia, international motorcycle traveller Elvis from Norway decided to leave behind his motorbike and pick up his bicycle (Mi Julie). Elvis takes her for a heart-shaped spin around his favourite parts of Perth, a city he has grown to love.
Please check out his interview below! Elvis is also the first Biker Boy of 2012!

What were the highlights of the heart cycle?
Stopping on the south side of the river, overlooking the city skyscrapers. We decided to rent a small sailboat and go for a sail after our cruisy ride.
Was it hard trying to maintain the heart shape route?
Freeways are allways a challenge... but with the help of a good Perth map we managed to get around,
What was the hardest challenge in the cycle?
Cycling down a hill as my bike brakes are not great and is a full fixy;) estetic but not very practical.
What was your motivation/ reason for wanting to do the cycle?
I guess there is a beautifull symboligy of riding the shape of a heart around a city I have grown to love. The skyscrapers have been a symbol of my striving for what I want in this country, and this cycle was in many ways a thank you to Perth and the good karma it brings me.
Elvis has been travelling the world by motorbike for the last couple of years, check out his amazing video on the left which shows him travel from Stavanger in Norway all the way to Perth, Australia!
